My textbook on data analysis for experimental design (aka ANOVA)
Here is a link to my textbook on analysis of variance. I’m currently working on a regression textbook and hope to follow that up with a multivariate statistics textbook. At that point I may turn to other kinds of books for a change of pace.
The analysis of variance textbook has an interesting history. It is a major revision of the classic textbook by Allen Edwards known as the “blue book.” Allen and I started working on a revision of his book in the mid-90s but unfortunately he passed away soon after the project began. I put the revision on hold for several years and came back to it in the mid-2000s. I thank the Edwards’ estate for giving permission to use many of Allen’s examples.
